The true 'Forest Tulip' was described as early as 1753 and is still found in Europe. Multiple golden yellow flowers per stem that hang gracefully in an arch. Naturalise easily in a light, semi-shade position in nutrient-rich, well-drained soil.

schitterende bloem in een stralende kleurPrachtige bloem en ik ben heel blij met deze soort. Hij wordt ook erg gewaardeerd door de voorbijgangers. Ze zijn goed opgekomen en een feest voor het oog. Het voorjaar staat heel erg te stralen zo in onze tuin.
